Below we provide step-by-step and easy to follow instructions to achieve the perfect pancakes right in your own home!
1. The Prep
Before you begin, make sure you have all the ingredients with you and lay them out clearly in your kitchen with the correct measurements to its easy once you get started.
First in a large bowl, mix well together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar with a spoon. Then make a hole in the centre of your mixture and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter. Mix until the batter is smooth and all the ingredients are unified.
2. Get your Master Chef on
Once the batter is done, take a round flat pan and lightly oil it with vegetable oil or butter, go over to your stove and start heating it over medium high heat.
Wait a few seconds for the oil to heat up and scoop a spoonful or your batter onto the pan. Try to drop the batter to make a round dollop. You need to use approximately 35 grams of batter for each pancake. Flip them once one side has cooked brown and allow for both sides to become that nice golden brown colour!
3. Savour every Bite!
You’ve finished all the pancake batter and you are left with about 6 tasty pancakes, serve hot on a plate. The last step is to sprinkle a generous serving of blackberries on top and pour some Maple Syrup for the final touch. Now all that is left to do is sit and devour!
